.Be Floaty.

Wrote to my brother Jeffrey today. He is currently in Basic Training for the Air Force. Felt good to imagine him reading my letter. He’s sent several letters to my family, and they’ve scanned/emailed me them so I could see them, too! Sounds like he is doing well, for the most part. He’s definitely playing it smart there, by staying quiet and following directions. He was given the job of “Latrine Queen”, which he wasn’t too fond of. Basically, he was in charge of shower times, corralling 50 guys in and out of the bathrooms in the mornings, and cleaning the latrines too…ew. BUT, he was given a different job last week. He’s now an Element Leader! Means he’s one of four guys in charge of their flight, and marches in the front of his flight, which is pretty cool! He’s been going to church on Sundays as a way to relax. He says the band is really good. Jeffrey was issued his gun the other day! Knew more about it than some of the other kids, thanks to his mad skillz at Call of Duty, and having a few BB guns back at home. Good thing! I can tell he’s excited about that part. It’ll definitely be crazy to see Jeffrey at his graduation! Marching in formation, wearing his blues. Can’t wait!
